Welcome to Gather Events a family-owned, all-inclusive event center rooted in the heart of Mendocino County. I’m Yazmin, the heart behind this dream-turned-reality. Born and raised right here in Ukiah, I’ve always been surrounded by celebration, community, and the joy of honoring life’s most meaningful moments. My earliest memories include the swirl of lace in my parents’ bridal boutique, the sparkle of quinceañera dresses, and the love stories shared across generations.

After earning my Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Marketing, I returned home with a vision: to build a business that celebrates love, culture, and connection. I opened Mendocino Bridal & Tux and expanded into full-service event design, offering custom décor, pipe and drape installations, and complete transformations for weddings, baptisms, quinceañeras, and community events throughout Lake and Mendocino County. My training at the I Wed Institute in Canada sharpened my skills and fueled my passion for creating unforgettable spaces.

Through years of working in beautiful venues across the region, I often dreamed of having my own place that offered more than just a backdrop, but an experience grounded in warmth, family, and authenticity. That dream came to life when we discovered a former horse event center on the outskirts of Ukiah. With open flat land, charming barns, and, most importantly, a graceful willow tree a tribute to my grandfather, who always inspired me to dream big, I knew we had found the right place.
We lovingly transformed the grounds into what is now Gather Events. A stunning outdoor venue featuring a handcrafted masonry wall, a winding walkway, lush landscaping, and tranquil water features that create an atmosphere of natural beauty and serenity. Our venue is more than a location, it’s a place to feel at home. A place where traditions are honored, new memories are made, and every celebration feels deeply personal.
